Thoughts for the New Year

New Year Celebration 2021

It is said that autumn is the time you count baby ducks. Spring is the time you count the asthenia episodes. In summer, the remaining holidays are counted, and in winter the final balance is made. On New Year's Eve, the joys and sorrows are counted, a line is drawn and an average is made.
How much did I smile, how many stories I told? How long did we run and how long did we rest? How much did we want and how much did we accomplish? Where did I start and where did I end up? How much did we accomplish of what we set out to do?

I can honestly say, hand on my heart, that I came out on top on all chapters. The more I ran, the more I enjoyed it. The more I worked, the more stories I had to tell. The more I did, the more I liked it. And for that, I am grateful to you, to those of you who have chosen to write your stories with Newborn Treasures. And with this, you wrote the most beautiful chapters in our story.

Thank You

We usually ask for more than we give thanks for and more than we can afford. Today I want it to be different. Today I do not ask for anything, neither from the year that is coming to an end, nor from the one that is about to begin. Today I simply sit and count the joys that God has laid in my way. And I take a moment to send a good thought to all those whom I have crossed paths with.

I thank my loved ones for being with me this year as well. I thank the friends I made during the photo sessions for their trust and for the positive energy they’ve passed on to me. I thank those who watched my online activity for the time spent to take a look at my words and photos. And thank you, to those who are visiting my blog now.

May all of you rejoice in everything that the New Year has in store for you. Take everything as a blessing or as a lesson, always look on the bright side. Always be yourself and always remember what really matters: you and the beautiful moments you share with your loved ones. Have the strength to not always do what is expected of you, but to do what pleases you and brings you peace of mind. To renew your stock of trust and hope day by day and to be a ray of sunshine for all those you cross paths with.

Nobody knows what the future holds. And that is the beauty of time. As for me, I just hope to keep my heart open all the time so that I can properly receive what is to be offered to me. This is my hope for you all!

Have a blessed New Year! Too many more beautiful stories!
